Lost Songs focuses on recordings from the 78rpm era that have never been reissued commercially. Many 78s were reissued on LP from the 1950’s and 60’s onwards, then later on CD, but there are still many gems out there waiting to be rediscovered.
You will also find some favourites of mine that have indeed been reissued at some point, but which still remain mostly uncommon (small pressing runs, alternative versions, live versions or very limited reissues, etc.)
